Baoshan No.2 Experimental School

Baoshan No.2 Experimental School, located in the historic and cultural town of Luodian within the large Meiluo residential community, is a nine-year integrated public school. The total land area of the school is 35,430.70 square meters, with a total construction area of 29,876 square meters and a green space ratio of 35%. It has a capacity of 45 teaching classes. The school boasts first-class hardware facilities, including four teaching buildings, two laboratory buildings, one comprehensive building, and one administrative building. In addition to specialized classrooms for music, art, natural science, and geography, there are also physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories, computer labs, and language learning rooms. The campus is equipped with a cafeteria, an indoor gymnasium, a multi-purpose hall, a student library, reading rooms, and recording classrooms, providing a conducive environment for students' academic and personal development.

The school was officially opened in September 2020, with the educational pursuit of "Virtue Leads to Goodness, Diligence Reaches Far." Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Upright Morality and Action, Aspiring for Beauty," it aims to cultivate well-rounded students with individuality, and to shape a teaching faculty that excels both in morality and professionalism, striving to be a modern high-quality institution where "the school has a soul, teachers have thoughts, students have personality, and parents have confidence."

Currently, the school has 28 teaching classes from grades one through six, with nearly 1,200 students. It is recognized as a "Green School" in Shanghai, an experimental school for the "Three Assistants" program, a digital transformation pilot school in Baoshan District, a smart peer exploration school for "Future Learning Diversity," and the second batch of "Xing Zhi Xing" labor education base schools in Baoshan District. Additionally, it serves as a heritage base for the traditional folk painting of Luodian. The school is also a part of a closely-knit group of schools under the Baoshan Education Bureau, being a member of the "Baoshan Experimental School Closely-Knit Educational Group."

The school implements teaching and evaluation based on curriculum standards, actively promoting the research and practice of "high-quality teaching," and constructing a harmonious and efficient classroom learning environment.     Through educational transformations such as digitalization, the school transforms the teaching  methods of teachers and the learning approaches of students, fostering their ability to solve practical problems and innovate, achieving mutual growth between teachers and students.
