The science and technology association of the park is an important part of the primary-level science and technology association, and a vital driving force for development with its services for technology innovation. Against the backdrop of a new round of revolution of the science paradigm, Fudan Software Park aims to enhance organizational building of the science and technology association, and to elevate its service capability. It proactively guides and promotes enterprises in the park to strengthen their technology R&D and innovation capability, pushes forward industrial restructuring and upgrade, and enables a high-quality system building of the park on all fronts.

Fudan Software Park (Gaojing) is a software industry base of China torch program, an important component of the Shanghai Software Park. As a strategic project of collaboration between Baoshan District and Fudan University, Fudan Software Park (Gaojing) builds itself into a high-tech industrial park that integrates scientific and technological research and development, achievement commercialization, business incubation, venture capital, talent cultivation and academic exchanges by actively taking advantage of the "Fudan" brand and relying on surrounding universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises in the park.

In December 2021, with the support of Baoshan Science and Technology Association, Fudan Software Park (Gaojing) Science and Technology Association was formally established. It aims to give full play to the agglomeration effect of sci-tech talents in the park, provide a communication platform for sci-tech workers and enterprises, and propel a leap-forward development of the district in becoming a main front of science and technology innovation center.

Since its establishment, Fudan Software Park (Gaojing) Science and Technology Association has strengthened its organizational structure and continuously consolidated the foundation for its organizational building. The general manager of the park serves as the chairman of the Park Science and Technology Association, the founders or general managers of key technology companies in the park serve as members of the Science and Technology Association, and senior managers are responsible for the daily operation and management of the Science and Technology Association. 100% of the Association staff have a bachelor’s degree, 3 have intermediate professional titles, some in possession of professional qualifications such as review expert for Shanghai Municipal Government Quality Award, personnel in technological start-up carrier, technology broker, intellectual property worker, copyright registration agent, chief quality officer, human resource professional, capable of serving technology companies professionally. The Park Science and Technology Association conscientiously organized the study of the report to the 20th CPC National Congress, carried out activities such as popular science lectures, industry-university-research exchanges, and led devoted work of the association members.

The Park Science and Technology Association adopts the "online + offline" dual-channel model to launch efficient and accurate services for technological innovation. The online channel includes more than 10 new media matrix such as the "Shanghai Enterprise Service Cloud" online store, official account, and video account, through which service and event information is released. This has enabled expansion of brand influence of the incubation base by improving the digital service capacity. The Park Science and Technology Association has also participated many times in the online activities (Innovation Service Express) hosted by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, including job fairs for technology companies, seminars on business secrets, and intellectual property-themed activities.

Offline services are more focused on precise matchmaking to directly meet the needs of enterprises. The 17th of each month is designated as the "Yiqilai" enterprise service day, when one-on-one directional counseling catering to the needs of enterprises is provided. During the counseling, external volunteer service professionals and entrepreneurial mentors are invited to give hands-on guidance in terms of application for being a technology-based SME or high-tech enterprise, technology contract registration, and application for scientific and technological titles, etc. Meanwhile, by setting up display stages for the enterprises in the Park and the "Pioneer Post for Party members serving science and technology innovation", and hosting "Pioneer Model Study Sessions" and "Sci-tech Mid-Autumn Park Party", etc., outstanding models of scientific and technological workers are cultivated and established.

"Yiqilai" enterprise service day

After years of development, Fudan Software Park (Gaojing) has formed a chain of "crowd innovation-incubation-acceleration-industrialization", and the industrial chain effect is prominent. In the start-up incubation stage, for the sci-tech innovation enterprises that the park strives to cultivate, the Park Science and Technology Association earnestly shoulders the incubation responsibility, provides preliminary guidance for the R&D, implements well sci-tech policies, and assists enterprises to develop in a formal and orderly manner. In this way, it will facilitate the building of an ecosystem facilitating industry innovation in the park, and create an empowering platform and a full-life-cycle service system.

In recent years, the park has focused on incubation of cutting-edge technology projects, actively expanded collaboration with universities and research institutions, and promoting commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Aiming at key scientific and technological achievements, the Park Science and Technology Association plays an actively role as a platform to carry out policy services and publicity training, provide project model guidance and market resource matchmaking services, help find partners, match the needs between universities, enterprises and research institutions, assist the determination of company, laboratory sites, and the utilization of sci-tech policies and talent policies, thus serving as a bridge for the landing of scientific research projects.
