Still remember rail transit Line 19? With terminal station in Baoshan District, the line passes through the North Bund, Lujiazui, the New Bund... Here comes another news!

The Line 19 is a north-south radial line to the central city, running through the Central Activity Zone and passing through Minhang, Xuhui, Pudong New Area, Hongkou, Baoshan and other administrative regions.

This Line contributes to enhancing the transport links between Wusong Innovation City and functional areas such as the North Bund, Lujiazui CBD, Expo area, Houtan and the New Bund, which will divert the traffic pressure from the northern section of Line 3 and the northern section of Line 1.

According to the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission on the adjustment of the construction plan of Shanghai Urban Rail Transit Phase III, the northern extension of Metro Line 19 starts from Baoyang Road Station (not included) and ends at Baoshan Station, with a length of 1.7 kilometers, all of which are underground line. After the north extension, the line length in Baoshan District is 10.7 km, with eight stations in total, including three transfer stations.
