On the afternoon of June 23, the Art Performance Celebrating 100the Anniversary of CPC Founding themed with “Staying True to the Original Aspiration and Keeping Incorrupt throughout the Career” was held in the studio of the Convergence Media Center of Baoshan District. Leaders of the District attended the performance including Chen Jie, Secretary of Baoshan District Party Committee, Chen Xueqiang, Head of Organization Department of the District Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission, Yu Yang, Director of the Eighth Supervision Office of the District Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission, Su Ping, Deputy District Mayor and member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Zhao Yi, Head of Publicity Department of the District and member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Qian Liang, Party Secretary of the District Disciplinary Inspection Commission and member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Qin Bing, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress, and Zhang Xiaojing, Vice President of the District CPPCC. 

Chen Jie pointed out that Party organizations at all levels of the district have further elaborated and implemented the “four responsibility collaboration” mechanism for strictly ruling over the Party after years of development. They unremittingly implement the Eight-Point Decision on Improving the Party and Government Conduct, continue to complete the ethical standards, and assume political responsibility of managing and governing the Party, forming a multiple-layer work approach and achieving obvious outcomes. Disciplinary inspection and supervisory commissions at all levels should always adhere to the strict principles and continue to comprehensively and strictly govern the Party, providing strong support for making Baoshan as the main front of building Shanghai into a science and technology innovation center. Chen Jie said that he hoped comrades could realize the importance of practice with knowledge, improve personal ability, and have the resolution of overcoming difficulties by learning the CPC history. He also expected that comrades could be alarmed and inspired from the art performance about incorruption, further form a strong ideological defense line, continue to improve the ability of political judgement, insight, and execution, and promote to combat corruption and build a clean government.

The 100-year journey of CPC surges forward with great momentum. Its original aspiration remains even firmer one hundred years later.

The art performance was acted by people around us and told stories of people around us. All Party members and cadres of the district were inspired to carry forward the red tradition, inherit the red gene, and carry on the spiritual blood of the CPC members so as to improve their spirit of “learning and surpassing”, advocate the honest atmosphere, and deeply promote the incorruption mechanism in which people do not dare to corrupt, cannot corrupt, and do not want to corrupt. 

The poem recitation Passion in the Red Surge showed the dedication spirit of people who work for disciplinary inspection and supervision. They present loyalty in their daily work and diligently protect the red hammer and sickle from fading forever.

The play Red Flag Embroidery presented the boldness of countless revolutionary predecessors who fought for the national liberation and founding of the country and took death calmly. A red flag implies the calm facing death and sacrifice for the country, and interprets the proud and glory of constructing the country.

The performance ended with the song Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China sang by all participants attending the performance.
