Gucun Park represents a pink sea of flowers in spring as in flowers brightening up spring. Thus, the unveiling ceremony of Online Cultural Tour for Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival in 2020 was held in Gucun Park on the morning of April 1.

The district’s officials, such as Wang Hong, Chen Jie, Li Ping, Ding Daheng, Zhou Zhijun, Su Ping, Zhao Yi, Wang Yiqun and Chen Xiaojie, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the district’s officials and the citizen representatives pressed the button to launch the Cultural Tour officially.

Wang Hong, Chief of the CPC District Committee, said in her speech that Baoshan's cultural tourism industry, as a beautiful business card, has ranked the top in Shanghai in recent years. The Cultural Tour is the inheritance and continuation of cultural tourism in Gucun Park, and is the microcosm that Baoshan advances the prosperity and development of cultural tourism industry.

Moreover, Baoshan will continuously promote the integration of ecology, culture, tourism, sports, commerce and other industries, introduce more cultural tourism products with their own characteristics, and offer vitality, power and deposit to draw a grand blueprint of International Cruise City and Intelligent Manufacturing City, so that more tourists enjoy more wonderful scenery and better life after the epidemic.

Chen Jie, Deputy Chief of the CPC District Committee and District Governor, and Lu Xiping, Director of the Eco-environmental Protection Office for Six Provinces and One City in East China, unveiled the Gucun Park Demonstration Base for the Yangtze River Delta Ecological Integration.

2020 marks the 10th year of the Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival. After ten years of brand cultivation and cultural accumulation, the Festival has developed into a rare brand of cultural tour in Shanghai and even the Yangtze River Delta, which results from great efforts and hard work of cultivators.

Besides, the Cultural Tour presented the award of "Top Ten Cultivators of Ten-year Cherry Blossom Festival" to Zhang Jianhua, a policeman from Liuhang Police Station, Wu Yaming, Chief of Engineering Section of Shanghai Baoshan Ecological Property Co., Ltd., and eight other cultivators.

Afterwards, Yan Hua, a famous host, presided over a humanities gathering that invited cultural celebrities in Shanghai to talk over past and present and to share the interest of natural life under the cherry blossom trees.
