Places of Interest in Baoshan | Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival
Baoshan has always been a place gathered of talents and outstanding people since ancient times. As many of the busy metropolis inhabitants, we are in a hurry every day, passing by streets and buildings... Maybe we will notice that some road names are familiar, or think that a certain building is unique, but we may not have time to stop and learn about the history of these places and appreciate their colorful stories.
Tao Hai
Tao Hai used to be a famous pop music program host in Shanghai. He became attached to Baoshan when filming documentaries more than ten years ago. In the series “Places of Interest in Baoshan”, he will lead us to visit interesting places in Baoshan and feel the ten thousand characteristics of Baoshan.

Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival was founded in 2011 and is held in Gucun Park, Shanghai from March to April every year.
At present, the planting area of cherry blossoms in Gucun Park has reached more than 1,600 mu. The theme of the 14th Shanghai Cherry Blossom Festival in 2024 is “Magic City Meets Cherry Blossom What a Colorful World”, which strives to integrate elements including cruise ship, culture, sports, commerce, and tourism through cherry blossom, and provide Shanghai citizens with multi-dimensional experience.
