Two foreign-funded projects signed contracts with Baoshan, and one was awarded the foreign-funded R&D center
On the morning of February 27th, the Signing Ceremony for the 38th MNC’s Regional Headquarters, Foreign Investment Promotion and Signing Ceremony for Projects with Foreign Investments were held in Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. Gong Zheng, deputy secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee and mayor, awarded certificates to the regional headquarters and R&D centers of multinational corporations and witnessed the centralized signing of projects. Vice Mayor Hua Yuan delivered a speech. Deng Xiaodong, deputy secretary of the CPC Baoshan District Committee and CPC secretary of the district government, attended the award and signing ceremony.

ROBOTICPLUS.AI, a foreign-funded enterprise in Baoshan District, was awarded a foreign-funded R&D center by the mayor. At the ceremony, Shanghai Shenhe Investment Co., Ltd., and Yuanmao Robotics signed a cooperation agreement with Baoshan District People’s Government. All the three foreign-funded enterprises are involved in key industries such as robotics, intelligent equipment, and advanced materials.
In recent years, Baoshan District has continuously strengthened the cultivation of foreign-funded enterprises, given full play to the influence of the municipal headquarters policy and the 30 policies of district science and technology innovation, and carried out the “headquarters capacity enhancement” action in depth, making great efforts to stabilize foreign investment, improve energy level, and promote development. In 2023, three foreign-funded enterprises in Baoshan District were recognized as regional headquarters of MNCs and foreign-funded R&D centers respectively.
