Exhibition of Baoshan in the 9th CSITF

Two entities of Baoshan, including North Shanghai Biomedical Industrial Park of Baoshan and Shanghai WanWay Digital Technology Co., Ltd., attended exhibition in the Biomedical Exhibition Area and Private Enterprise Exhibition Area respectively.

The booth of North Shanghai Biomedical Industrial Park focuses on six arenas: vaccine, drug research and development, cell and gene therapy, synthetic biological products, in vitro diagnosis and other innovative medical devices, displaying key enterprises and latest technologies in the pharmaceutical industry in Baoshan District. In terms of vaccines, Abogen brought an industry-leading mRNA technology platform with independent intellectual property, including design, synthesis and modification technology of mRNA, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technology and dynamic precision mixing technology; In terms of cell and gene therapy, Unicar-Therapy brought the world’s first CART product that broke through the contraindications for treating metastatic and invasive tumors in the central nervous system, and the world’s first CART product that broke through the product of recurrent acute myeloid leukemia. With the further accelerated introduction of high-quality enterprises, R&D and transformation platforms, industrial funds and other resource elements continue to gather. It is estimated that by 2025, the biomedical industry scale of North Shanghai Biomedical Industrial Park will exceed 20 billion yuan. Baoshan will further highlight the advantages of North Shanghai Hub Gateway with the layout of “radiating the south, linking the area across the river in the north, connecting Pudong Leading Area in the east and Yangtze River Economic Belt in the west”, and become an important node for Shanghai to serve the north wing of Yangtze River Delta and a new growth point for economic development in northern Shanghai.
