While the construction of Nanda Smart City is changing with each passing day, the construction of industrial projects in the special steel area of Wusong Innovation City is also accelerated. Currently, the 07-01 plot project, which is a major industrial project, is in full swing, and the substructure construction will be completed in a month.

Plot 07-01 of Wusong Innovation City Special Steel Industry Project is located in Baowu Special Steel Area south of Haijiang Road and north of Shuangcheng Road, across Tongji Road from Baolian City of Songbao Central City.

The 07-01 plot project officially started construction in late December last year, with a land area of 17,000 square meters and an above-ground building area of 50,000 square meters, with a total investment of about 500 million yuan. With a design theme of “Attracting Businesses, Embracing Innovation”, the project primarily caters to R&D offices, exhibition spaces and living facilities. The project obtained all necessary approvals, including the land contract and construction permit, within a month, under the guidance of the CPC District Committee and the District People’s Government.

Since the commencement of construction, mainly the substructure construction has been carried out in 07-01 plot, with the construction of pile foundation, earthwork and supporting system completed successively. Most of the floor construction of underground buildings has also been completed, and the whole substructure construction will be completed in a month.

The relevant person in charge said, “There is still the last piece left in the bottom plate concreting. The support will be removed later, and it is expected that it will be plus or minus zero (ground) by the end of June. The project is divided into buildings A, B and C. Buildings A and B are 9-story steel structures, and Building C is a corridor.” 

Wusong Innovation City is a major industrial project for Baoshan District and China Baowu Steel Group to deepen cooperation between the central and local governments and build the main position of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center. Since the launch of the first project of Wusong Innovation City, Baoshan District and Baowu Group have forged ahead hand in hand, cooperated closely and made new achievements continuously. Throughout the period, several plans were examined and approved, multiple projects commenced, and some public construction facilities were steadily progressed.

The development and construction of the 07-01 plot project of Wusong Innovation City, a Baoland asset, marks the acceleration of the construction of major industrial projects in Baoshan’s Northern Transformation and adds new momentum to Baoshan’s urban renewal and economic development.
