On the morning of August 18, the district party secretary Chen Jie visited many enterprises to examine production safety, in an effort to ensure "epidemic prevention, economic stability, security assurance".

At Shanghai Aeroengine Manufacturing Company, Chen Jie visited the company's production line and listened to an introduction to the production situation. Chen Jie stressed that we should always put safety production first, constantly consolidate the awareness of prevention in the production process, timely remove safety hazards, and nip any possible problems in the bud. Meanwhile, enterprises should continue to improve intelligent and automated manufacturing level and better apply technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce safety hazards. 

At Faiveley Transport Metro Technology (Shanghai), Chen Jie learned in detail about the development of the enterprise and personally visited production workshops to check production safety. Chen Jie stressed that we should keep safe production firmly in mind, establish a mechanism for risk assessment and emergency response, and strictly implement relevant regulations and measures, and assign responsibilities of safety production specifically. Chen Jie urged enterprises to take all the necessary actions to prevent heatstroke, reasonably arrange working schedules of staff and strike a balance between work and rest. Enterprises should coordinate epidemic prevention and control and production safety, and standardize gestures to ensure smooth and orderly production.

At Yipeng Rail Transit Development (Shanghai), Chen Jie learned in detail about the core business plan of the enterprise and listened to its service concept on intelligent construction. Chen Jie pointed out that he hoped the enterprise would continue to follow the core concepts of collaboration, innovation, preciseness and pragmatism, and explore new ways of development based on the actual development of Baoshan. Chen Jie stressed that enterprises needed to pay attention to production safety in the construction process, constantly intensify measures for safe and take it as the basis for development, and take necessary actions for epidemic control and prevention and heatstroke prevention, in an effort to ensure that all work is carried out in an orderly manner and the regional visibility and identity can be further enhanced.
