With a total area of about 535 mu, the Chinese rose theme garden around Yuelin Lake in the phase II of the park displays 128 varieties. The flowering period of Chinese rose is from the end of April to the end of December, with May and October as the full-bollm stage. The Chinese rose garden is divided into three areas: entrance prologue area, theme garden area and theme extension area. By creating different types of garden space, the graceful posture and romantic color of Chinese rose can be displayed. In addition, combined with the beautiful scenery of Yuelin Lake and the leisure and entertainment facilities such as kayaking, the colorful Chinese rose garden will become another core area for citizens to rest and keep healthy.

Dreamy Hairawn Muhly

This autumn, the newly planted "cyber celebrity" hairawn muhly near gate 3 of the phase II of the park made its debut, covering an area of 23,000 square meters. Hairawn muhly has cloud-like pink inflorescence at its terminal, and its flowering period is from September to November every year. The park uses the ups and downs of the terrain to create a continuous sea of flowers. When the hairawn muhly blooms, it takes green leaves as the bottom, and the pink and purple flower spikes grow from the base like hair, which looks like red clouds from a distance, showing tourists a dreamy flower field in autumn.

According to the event information of "Looking for Discolored Plants" published by the WeChat official account of Gucun Park, citizens and tourists need to find any five kinds of discolored plants in the park, mark their names and upload their photos to WeChat official account of the park to participate in the event. Visitors who participate in the event and successfully find five kinds of discolored plants in the park will receive the "sightseeing gift" provided by the park, so that citizens and tourists can feel the charm of popular science in the event, thus further improving the citizens’ engagement and sense of gain.
