On June 2, Baoshan Delegation, led by the Secretary of the District Party Committee Chen Jie, visited enterprises in Beijing including Hopu Investment Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hopu Investment), JD Group, Didi Chuxing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Didi Group), and China Rida Investment and Development Group Corp., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Rida Group). The visit aimed to learn about projects, learn experiences, and understand development concepts, discussing the development prospect of Baoshan District and exploring cooperation opportunities. The delegation thoroughly learned about the measures and practice in achieving outcomes in enterprise transformation and science and technology innovation, which is a toolbox for the science and technology innovation development in Baoshan. Other leaders of the district including Su Ping and Zhai Lei were also in the delegation.

Established by Mr. Fang Feilei in 2008, Hopu Investment is a leading private equity firm that focuses on investment opportunities in China. Chen Jie said that he hoped both sides could deepen the exchange based on previous cooperation and fully leverage Hopu Investment’s advantages in talents and technology to better facilitate the transformation development of Baoshan District.      

At the headquarter of JD Group, the delegation visited the Jingdong Command Center, Corporate Exhibition Hall, and Data Center, learned about the Group’s new business formats and innovative governance mode in the age of Internet +, and further understand the Group’s site planning, operation of Jingdong Command Center, and consumption hotspot and intelligent supply chain deployment.

As a famous scientific and technological mobility provider, Didi Group provides taxi calling, private car hailing, cargo and logistics, and financing services in the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and Russia. The delegation paid a visit to the Group and learned the striking outcomes in smart transportation and automatic driving as well as the services and business mode of the Group’s subsidiary Xiaoju New Energy Auto Technology. Didi Group focuses on the data-driven development, values data accumulation, analysis, and decision-making, and strives to create values for users guided by innovative business philosophy. Chen Jie expressed that Didi Group was welcomed to invest and develop in Baoshan and expected to promote the development of new economy and business formats and advance the urban digital transformation with more applications based on its positioning and advantages, making contributions to the future urban development of Baoshan and even Shanghai.

China Electronics Corporation (CEC) mainly provides electronic information products and services and has strong ability in research and development of electronic information products and dominant competitiveness in the industry. The corporation pursues promoting market-oriented structural reform as its main task, continuously builds the industry chain and expands the value chain, and enhances the resource allocation and layout adjustment in the globe. Its subsidiary China Rida Investment and Development Group Corp., Ltd. has developed into a large diversified modern group that integrates asset management, industrial development, property management service, and information service after years of development and deep restructuring and integration in recent years. The delegation also visited the corporation, learned about the corporation’s development status and business structure, and looked into the future cooperation between Baoshan District and Rita Group. Chen Jie pointed out that he hoped Rita Group could further complete its strategic positioning, continue to grow into a bigger and stronger enterprise guided by the national development strategy, and build digital industry cluster to better promote urban digital transformation and construction of the main front of building Shanghai into a science and technology innovation center.   

On the same day, another team led by Su Ping went to iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd. to learn about its digital technology and digital operation services. As a leading domestic software and IT service provider, iSoftStone adheres to the mission of increasing values for clients by digital technology and has provided services to over 1000 domestic and foreign clients in a dozen of important industries due to its industry experiences accumulated for years.
