Simplify the Entrance Process with “Two in One” Code

“Please show your Shanghai health QR code.” At the entrance of Gucun Park, visitors only need to show the park’s reservation code or Shanghai health QR code without keeping paper tickets to walk into the park. The secret lies in the QR code.

Working with Informatization Commission of Baoshan District and Gucun Park, Baoshan Media Convergence Center has developed an intelligent life service scenario application. The application integrates a visitor’s reservation code of the park and Shanghai health QR code into one which can be scanned to check the visitor’s health status information and confirm the presence of the visitor. On the premise of strictly implementing the Covid-19 prevention and control measures, it helps simplify the process of entering the park, avoiding people gathering for long time. This large digital life application scenario is built by the first district media convergence center of Shanghai based on the Shanghai health QR code.  

This media convergence center has considered to provide “last mile” convenience services for the public with technical tools since last year. The application is called Baoshan Media Center (BMC) which is designed from the top level and better facilitate and make people benefit from it. Visitors can have an experience featured with different urban management in Baoshan.

Visitors expect to meet the park decorated by cherry blossoms in the festival. If population flow in the park is limited, it will make them disappointed. When people book tickets through the application, it will display the real-time remaining tickets, which enables people to learn about the population flow in advance and helps them determine whether to change the schedule or adjust the reservation time for better experience.   

Continuously Expand Service Coverage

The BMC has been developed from an application with single feature of updating news of Baoshan District to one that integrates news updating, self-service center for administrative affairs, government information disclosure, one-stop community service, information service management, and etc. It helps optimize the government’s service process, innovate government service mode, and promote data sharing.   

The application will be further applied in public service sector with the support of Shanghai health QR code to realize one-code management, travelling, and service across multiple public institutions. It will facilitate people’s daily life and meet their basic needs. The combination of news, government affairs, and service will continue to cultivate new ability, provide new services, create new value, and better transform the population flow to the energy for economic growth.
