The Yangtze River Economic Belt Hydrogen Industry Eco-sphere Summit - 2nd Baoshan Hydrogen Forum was held in the China Baowu Wusong Hydrogen Industry Park on the morning of July 29. It aims at displaying the gathering advantage of the hydrogen industry eco-sphere, promoting industry upgrading and practicing the national clean energy strategy. Attending the summit were Chen Derong, Party Chief and President of China Baowu Group, Hu Wangming, General Manager and Deputy Party Chief of China Baowu Group, Chen Jie, Deputy Party Chief and Governor of Baoshan, and Wang Yiqun, Standing Member of the CPC Baoshan Committee and Deputy Governor.

Officials from China Baowu Group and Baoshan Government jointly pressed the button, announcing the opening of the forum.

Chen Derong said in the speech that with the goal of realizing commercial demonstration of the whole hydrogen industry chain, China Baowu has fully advanced the “one park, one management, five stations and one thousand vehicles” program. He hoped that it will attract high-quality resources and promote the coordinated development of the eco-chain, the capital chain, the talent chain and the technology chain through this summit. And it will accelerate the construction of a leading enterprise in the hydrogen industry, develop the Baowu Hydrogen Industry Park into a hydrogen industry cluster in the Yangtze River Delta, keep increasing its influence in the hydrogen industry, implement the China Baowu hydrogen industry development plan, and assist the construction of a low-carbon society.

Chen Jie said that with the opening of the Wusong Hydrogen Industry Park as the start point, Baoshan will join hands with China Baowu, regard innovation as the primary driving force for development, speed up the development of the strategic emerging industries like hydrogen, and keep increasing the new energy industry chain level and consolidating the basic capacity of the industry to boost the accelerated transformation and upgrading of the old industry park. Besides, Baoshan will continue to improve business environment and offer greater support in open scenes, innovation and coordination and policy supply, thus providing enterprises with best services and greatest support and facilitating the sound and sustainable development of the hydrogen industry.

At the opening of the Wusong Hydrogen Industry Park, the signing ceremony for the first batch of enterprises settling there is held, including Baowu Clean Energy, The Linde Group, Aerospace Hydrogen, SAIC Jieqing, CIMC Enric, Shanghai Jiaotong University Hydrogen Reserve Energy, Shanghai Jiening, JMC Heavy Duty Vehicle, and Re-fire Technology.

The Yangtze River Economic Belt Hydrogen Industry Eco-sphere Initiative was read out at the opening ceremony. It puts forward suggestions from 8 aspects for those attending the activity, namely, actively expanding the boundless cooperation of hydrogen resource, its application scenes and technologies; optimizing the producing, storing, transporting, processing and application links to assist the scaled application of hydrogen energy vehicles; relying on the China Baowu Wusong Hydrogen Industry Park to jointly establish a platform, carry out incubation and cooperation, and make demonstration; cultivating the industry-university-research new technology accelerator to promote breakthroughs in the research and development of the hydrogen industry; excavating and cultivating the existing and potential commercial value of the hydrogen industry to speed up its scaled and commercialized development; setting up an open and shared win-win idea; facilitating the overall development of the hydrogen industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from Baoshan and Shanghai; seizing the scaled hydrogen pilot application in the city and industry parks from a higher start point and of high quality and security to ensure the stable and sustainable development of the Wusong Hydrogen Industry Park.

The present guests visited the exhibition of the whole industry chain products covering “producing, storing, transporting, processing and application” and the technical solutions to eco-sphere.
