Founded in 1974, Shanghai Baoshan Red Star Kindergarten is a public kindergarten affiliated to Baoshan District Education Bureau. In recent years, the kindergarten has been expanding in scale. At present, it owns three campuses, which are located in Zhangmiao Street and Gucun Town blocks in Baoshan District respectively.

At present, Red Star Kindergarten is the Anji Game promotion and pilot kindergarten of the Ministry of Education and the third round action research school for improving curriculum leadership in primary and secondary schools (kindergartens) in Shanghai.
