Taking wood decorations, wooden crafts and wood wares as the carriers, it integrates six functions in one place, i.e., exhibition, shopping, treasures exposition, sightseeing tour, leisure and recreation, and cultural exchange. Based on wood, the project aims at building an exchange platform for wood lovers and invigorating the market to create a new business, tourism and culture industry model that embodies Chinese cultural elements.
The project occupies a floor area of 170mu and a planned construction area of 47,000㎡, and has a total investment of RMB 80 million Yuan and a greening rate of above 50%. It is planned to be constructed by two phases: the project phase I, occupying a floor area of 61 mu and a construction area of 27,000㎡, includes Shanghai Ancient Wood Museum, Red House Wood Art Museum, Redwood Cultural Arts Park, etc,has basically been completed; the project phase II, occupying a floor area of 50 mu and a construction area of 20,000㎡, is expected to be completed in 2014.

Located along Hutai Road, close to the Shangda Road Station and Changzhong Road Station of Metro Line 7, about 1 km away from the Middle Ring
