Travel in Baoshan

In 2021, Baoshan District Culture and Tourism Bureau attached importance to both COVID-19 control and tourism development, developed new quality travel routes, improved the quality and efficiency of tourism-related public services, and ensured a safe and orderly tourism environment. In 2021, travel agencies, restaurants and tourist attractions under the statistics of Baoshan received 9.0077 million inbound tourists from home and abroad and realized a revenue of 2 billion RMB in total. The influence of Baoshan’s tourism promotion improved significantly. Baoshan collaborated with Tencent and explored new promotional channels such as WeChat Moment and mobile apps by leveraging the advantages of the big data platform. In 2021, the online promotional campaigns of Baoshan gained over 6.2 million views. Baoshan also stepped up efforts to develop and upgrade travel routes, with 24 new thematic travel routes developed in 2021, such as A Fun Tour of Baoshan at Four Seasons and Stories of Architecture—A Cultural Tour of Baoshan. In 2021, Baoshan held 236 tourism activities, attracting nearly 2.47 million hits online and over 1.66 million offline participants.
