In 2023, there were 1,805 road freight transportation companies in Baoshan District, a decrease of 245 from the previous year; these enterprises owned a total of 51,052 transportation vehicles, a reduction of 4,833. Among these, there were 37 companies engaged in the transportation of dangerous goods, operating 1,643 vehicles; and 924 container transportation companies, with 38,170 container transport vehicles. There were 273 motor vehicle repair enterprises, including 14 Class I repair businesses, 154 Class II repair businesses, 99 Class III repair operations, and 6 comprehensive performance testing stations. The district had 148 bus routes operating a total of 1,880 buses. There were 1,490 bus stops, with 21 new stops added compared to the previous year. In 2023, 196 new bus shelters were installed, bringing the total to 1,002. Additionally, there were 171 public parking facilities, an increase of 17 from the previous year, providing 43,335 parking spaces, an increase of 6,198. There are 37 inland river port operators and 40 worksites in total. Of these, 22 are located at the Wenzao River, 8 at the Lianqi River, 4 at the Yangsheng River, 5 at the Panjing River, and 1 at the Gujing River. Baoshan District is home to 15 waterway transportation enterprises, 2 ship management companies, and 68 operating vessels.
