During this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival, college students, middle school, and primary school students can enter the park free of charge with their student ID cards, and medical staff can continue to enjoy the free ticket policy with valid certificates.

During the Cherry Blossom Festival, the traffic flow and people flow on the roads around Gucun Park are concentrated. Please actively cooperate with the command and guidance of the traffic police department to jointly create a safe, civilized, and orderly road traffic environment. In order to ensure the tour experience, it is recommended to avoid entering the park during the peak hours of weekends and holidays. Visitors who really need to enter the park during peak hours should make an appointment in advance, queue in an orderly way, visit in a civilized manner, consciously maintain the sanitary environment, take the initiative to avoid short-term passenger flow peaks, and do a good job of self-protection.

01 Metro

Gucun Park has two rail transit lines: Metro Line 7 and Line 15. There are five exits at Gucun Park Station which is close to Gate 2 of Gucun Park. Among them, Exits 1 and 2 are close to the North Branch of Huashan Hospital, Exit 6 is close to Zhengda Touch Mall, Exit 3 is located on the east side of Qilianshan Road, Exit 5 is located on the west side of Qilian Mountain Road and Jingbohu Road, and Exit 5 is the closest one to Gate 2 of Gucun Park. It is suggested to choose Exit 5 when leaving the station, to reduce the waiting time for red lights in Jingpohu Road when crossing the street and avoid the complex flow of people and vehicles. (During the peak hours of leaving the park, the police will adjust the allowed number of passengers of Exit 5 according to the passenger flow. Please actively cooperate with the police and follow the command and guidance to enter and leave the Metro station.)

02 Bus line

With the development and construction of public transportation in Baoshan in recent years, Gate 1 of Gucun Park along Hutai Road and Gate 2 along Jingpohu Road have achieved full coverage of bus lines. It not only realizes the interconnection between suburbs, but also solves the problems of bus-taking for citizens who want to visit Gucun Park in Baoshan District. There are Bus Line 963 and Line 528 along Hutai Road at Gate 1, and Baoshan Line 29 and Line 1605 at Baoju Road at Gate 2.

01 Route

This year, in addition to the original route from North-South Elevated Road and Yixian Elevated Road to S20 Hutai Road Exit, and the exit of Baoan Highway of S7 Huchong Expressway passing through Baoan Highway to Lianyang Road to reach Gate 3 of Gucun Park, vehicles entering the park can also transfer to Jingpohu Road via Qilianshan Road to reach Gate 2 and Gate 3 of the park after the Qilianshan Road Tunnel on the south side of Jingpohu Road of Luxiang Road is opened to traffic. For reminder, pedestrians and non-motor vehicles are prohibited from passing through Qilianshan Road Tunnel.

02 Vehicle parking

This year, there are more than 7,300 parking berths in and around Gucun Park for tourists. Gucun Park has more than 1,900 parking berths, including more than 600 parking berths at Gate 1 and more than 1,200 parking berths at Gate 3. There are more than 2,000 parking berths around Gucun Park, including more than 1,000 green spaces in Zhengda Touch Mall and more than 1,300 in Huashan Hospital. When the parking lots of Gucun Park and surrounding areas are fully occupied, the traffic management department will open the parking resources along the roads around the park, including Lianyang Road, Julian Road, Jutai Road, and Baoju Road. Drivers should obey the command of the on-site policemen. There are nearly 2,600 temporary parking berths along the roads.

Cherry Blossom News: At present, the early cherry blossoms in Gucun Park are during the best blossom period, and Tairyo cherry blossoms, Kawazu cherry blossoms, and Introrsa cherry blossoms are in full bloom and dazzling; Spring Cherry Blossom, Oh-kanzakura Cherry Blossom, and Ckan Cherry Blossom have also spread their petals and are coming into blossom; the early and middle cherry variety Feihan Cherry Blossom is ready to blossom, and it will bloom in a week; the early cherry blossom with Yoshino Ranai as the representative is expected to usher in the flowering period in late March, with the beautify scenery of petals piled up like clouds and snow; late cherry varieties will open around Tomb-Sweeping Day, when cherry blossom petals bloom full of trees with colorful colors.

In early spring, March is full of flowers, and cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Next month, more than 1,500 acres of cherry blossoms in Gucun Park will bloom together with tulips, February orchids, rape flowers, daffodils and other flowers. At present, the planting area (more than 1,500 mu), varieties (110 kinds), and quantity (more than 16,000 plants) of cherry blossoms in Gucun Park are all ranking first in Shanghai. Visitors can enter the park from Gates 1, 2, and 3, and wear masks when entering the park.

Visitors must make real-name booking for tickets through “Baoshanhui” application and Gucun Park WeChat official accounts (including free tourists, students who meet preferential policies, the elderly, etc.), and visitors who enjoy preferential policies need to show their ID cards or other preferential certificates.

Visitors who make real-name reservations can enter the park quickly by opening the “Shanghai QR Code” or “ticket reservation code” in advance.

Park opening hours: 6:00-18:00 (the park is not allowed to enter after 16:30).

Military personnel, the elderly, and the disabled can still enjoy preferential policies, and college students, primary and middle school students, and medical staff can enjoy free tickets with valid certificates. Adult tickets are RMB 20 per person, elderly people aged 60 to 64 are RMB 16 per person with valid identity documents, military personnel, elderly people aged 65 and above, disabled people, etc. enjoy the free ticket according to the price management regulations of park tourist attractions.
